Widely recognised as a regeneration education pioneer in South Africa, Leigh grew SEED from start-up in 2001 through two changes in national curriculum, three bodies of work over 23 years.

Under her lead, SEED developed had significant impact through comprehensive regeneration education programs focussing on schools, homes, local green economies, youth and neighbourhoods.

Instigator of Strategic Partnerships with Individuals, Community Forums, Organisations, Government (local, provincial, national),Academic Institutions and Forums.

Leigh is signed up for the Landscape Architecture Honours Program at University of Cape Town (UCT)in 2025, where she is excited to synthesise decades of regeneration design experience with the rigour and discipline of priciples and practices of design.
